Tigger

Before

Tigger was on the adoption floor at IACS when staff noticed she was urinating excessively. She was given antibiotics, but they didn’t seem to help. They were concerned she may have kidney issues. In spite of this, Tigger was friendly, sweet, and loved attention. A volunteer agreed to foster her and take her to the vet for further testing. Blood work and urinalysis showed Tigger had a urinary tract infection but did not show kidney issues. She was given a Covenia injection. The shelter decided to look for rescue, since her infection was ongoing, and she would need further testing in order to confirm it was gone. move to Act pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue pay for her care. Hoosier Hooves and Hounds rescued Tigger and helped her get over her stubborn infection! In addition to the antibiotics she had already been given, she had to have Clavamox to get rid of it completely. Tigger is now doing well in rescue and has had no urinary issues.
