Duckie is a puppy that was found as an injured stray and taken to IACS. She had odd injuries, sores and wounds, from head to tail that were not consistent with being hit by a car or any type of common accidental injury. One of her back legs was injured beyond repair and required amputation. That surgery has been completed. She also has multiple fractures to the opposite front leg. This leg is currently splinted and she is having weekly bandage changes. We should know in 2 more weeks whether this leg is healing appropriately or if she will need surgery to repair it.
