Boomer came to IACS as confiscate cruelty case on 12/22/2020. .He was found chained and curled up in the cold next to a fence. He did have a dog house that was sort of broken down and not enough to keep him warm and safe. He was brought in dirty and very malnourished. IACS notes indicate treatment for URI in addition to pain meds for his hip dysplasia. Our vet thinks this is due to an old injury that wasn’t treated. IACS also discovered he is heartworm positive and put on rescue list. Through all his he’s been a happy wonderful dog.
