Before

Nicco was very lethargic upon arriving here and did not want to eat. We gave him some Entyce and some hamburger and other yummies to get him to eat. Our vet originally put him on antibiotics for his fever and to lower a very high white cell count. He seemed to be perking up for a couple of days but then on 5/25 he was once again not eating and he was whimpering in pain, so back to our local vet we went. Nicco’s white blood count was still very high, his fever was 105.1 and his red blood cells were not regenerating as they should be. Our vet did not have any diagnostics to further determine the cause of these anomalies and insisted that we get him immediate care at VCA. As of 5/26/2021 he is still at VCA and will remain at least through early afternoon 5/27/2021.
