Shep

Shep

Before

Shep was surrendered by his owner at seven months because he was more than they could handle. He was basically a normal, rambunctious, mouthy puppy.  He hadn’t learned manners when he was small, and, now that he had grown, he was difficult to handle.  Shepwas a little timid at the shelter, and he was much more comfortable with women than men.  He was placed on rescue only, so he could get some training and be better socialized with men prior to being adopted.  Poor Shep sat on the rescue list for several weeks with no interest, so he was given a “must have rescue by” date.  move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund.  We hoped a pledge would help a rescue take notice of this handsome boy and come rescue him.  Shortly after we pledged, Help the Animals committed to rescuing Shep!  As you can see from his after pictures, he is really happy and enjoying himself in rescue.  Thank you to those of you who have donated to our Last Chance Fund and helped us be a part of Shep‘s rescue.  If you would like to help us save the most at-risk animals in Indianapolis, please visit http://www.movetoact.org/donate.php to donate.  The more funds we raise, the more animals we can help!
