Shamrock

Shamrock

Before

Shamrock came to the shelter as a stray.  He was listed as a female who would need to be spayed, so Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help with the cost.  There are no low-cost clinics for pigs, so their care can be expensive.  Oinking Acres stepped up to help Shamrock.  When they got to the shelter to pick him up, he walked right into his crate for some carrots, as if he knew he was being rescued!  When they got him back to the rescue, they learned he was actually a neutered male.  While Shamrock did not need surgery, Oinking Acres rescued several pigs that did need to be spayed, so our pledge went to help them!  Shamrock has a new name of Sunshine and is doing very well at Oinking Acres.  I think you can tell from his after photo that he is being spoiled and loved while he waits for his forever home.    Thank you for supporting our Moore Life Medical Fund and helping Shamrock!   If you would like to make a contribution, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/  You can also help by using Amazon Smile when shopping online.  Select move to Act for your charity of choice, and a percentage of your purchase will go to help an animal in need.
