Sampson is an eight year old, cuddly, loving kitty who was on the adoption floor until the shelter vet suspected he may have failing kidneys. He was placed on the rescue list in hopes a rescue would have tests run. There was no interest from rescue, and Sampson was given a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund to help a rescue pay for tests, but the date came and went with no rescue. A volunteer at the shelter took Sampson home to foster in order to give him a little more time. Fortunately, Hoosier Hooves and Hounds came through and rescued him! They ran tests and learned he is a healthy boy! Sampson has since been adopted, and his after picture shows him resting happily in his forever home.
