Rusty was living at an abandoned shop with several other dogs. Their owner surrendered them to Indianapolis Animal Care Services when he admitted he could not care for them properly. Rusty was timid and not sure who to trust.  He was placed on rescue only in the hope an experienced foster in rescue could work with him.  He was eventually given a “must have rescue by” date, and Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Last Chance Fund to help a rescue pay for his care.  Rusty was down to his last hour when Creekside Animal Rescue committed to rescuing him!  He is now safe in a foster home and doing very well.  He has been to a few adoption events, and we’re sure he will find his forever home soon!  If you would like to make a donation to help animals like Rusty, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/  Thank you to those who have donated and supported our mission!
