Before

Romeo had barrier issues and appeared highly aggressive when he first got to the shelter. He was scheduled to be euthanized. Once staff got him out of his cage, they realized what a nice dog he could be and removed him from the euthanasia list in hopes of finding a rescue. Poor Romeo was covered in fleas and missing fur. The shelter gave him a flea treatment and within a few weeks his fur was growing back. They discovered Romeo is a high-energy boy who loves to play! Unfortunately, his behavior in the kennel never improved and he was given a “must have rescue by” date after being on the rescue list for about three weeks. move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund in hopes of helping Romeo find a rescue. Fortunately, Tails and Trails thought he was worth saving and rescued him. Romeo has been doing well in rescue and is described as being a lively boy.
