Roman was a happy, active senior who did well with other dogs and loved snacks and attention. He was all set to go on the adoption floor, but he tested heartworm positive and had a persistent cough. The shelter does treat heartworm, but with his age (10 years) and the risks involved with treatment in seniors, he was placed on rescue only. move to ACT pledged from the Moore Life Medical Fund to help with the cost of his treatment.
