Rogue

Rogue

Before

Rogue was surrendered to the shelter by her owner when she was four years old.  She is an active, friendly, happy girl!  She spent some time on the adoption floor but started having a very deep-chested cough.  She was treated for an upper respiratory infection, but the cough persisted.  Chest x-rays revealed Rogue had a slightly enlarged heart and possibly a collapsed right lung lobe. The shelter vet felt the coughing should resolve in time, but she may need further diagnostics in the near future. Rogue was placed on rescue only.  The poor girl waited for several weeks with no rescue interest and was finally given a “must have rescue by” date.  Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Last Chance Fund in order to help with the cost of diagnostics.  Fortunately, Tuff Dawgs Rescue made a spot for her!  Rogue is doing very well in foster.  She has learned to turn around, sit, shake, and give kisses on command.   Her vet visit went well, and she is now available for adoption through Tuff Dawgs.  Thank you for supporting our Last Chance Fund and helping Rogue!  If you would like to make a contribution, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/  You can also help by using Amazon Smile when shopping online.  Select move to Act for your charity of choice, and a percentage of your purchase will go to help an animal in need.
