Ripley was only about a year old when he arrived at the shelter as a stray. Both of his ears were badly infected, and he had so many fleas his hair was thin from scratching. In spite of his condition, he was a happy, energetic, playful guy who loved people! The shelter gave him a flea treatment and began treating his ears. Unfortunately, Ripley’s ear infections did not resolve. He was placed on rescue only because he needed more extensive treatment than the shelter could provide. The shelter also learned Ripley did not care for other dogs.
