Prince was only two years old when his owners surrendered him to the shelter. He didn’t like to be left alone and sometimes busted out of his crate, barked, and destroyed things when his owners left. He is a very lovable boy who loves attention. He wiggles, wags, and rolls over for belly rubs! He also did well when meeting other dogs. He did not pass his food bowl test at the shelter, so he was placed on rescue only. The shelter also hoped to find a rescue who could work with him on his separation anxiety. Prince waited for weeks with no interest from rescue. In that time, staff and volunteers discovered he knew sit, shake, down, and they even taught him to roll over! Finally, Prince did receive a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund to give him a better chance at rescue. Fortunately, Animal House Sanctuary rescued him! He is doing very well in rescue and has been renamed Qbert. He has broken out of his crate several times, but they are working with him. He loves baths and has done well with the other dogs in his foster home. Thank you for supporting our Last Chance Fund and helping Prince find his rescue!
