Before

Page arrived as a stray and because of her cage behavior, was not going to be a candidate for adoption or rescue. She barked and growled and seemed aggressive. Fortunately, a volunteer was able to get her out to visit, and she was okay with him that day. A staff member got her out, and she did great with her as well. It seemed she really bonded quickly to some people and was not trusting of others. Overall, the shelter made her nervous and skittish. She was placed on the rescue list in hopes a rescue would find a foster. Perhaps, in a home environment without so much stress, her true personality would shine. After a few weeks with no interest, Page was given a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund to help increase her chances of being rescued. Luckily, Helping Paws was able to find a foster and rescue Page! As you can see from her after pictures, she is a happy girl and doing well in her foster home. Thank you for supporting our Last Chance Fund and helping to save Page!
