Mona

Before

Mona and her puppies were confiscated for cruelty. They waited at the shelter for a month for the court to determine they did not have to go back to their owner. By that time, the puppies were old enough to be away from mom, so they went to rescue. Mona was temp-tested for the adoption floor but did not do well when meeting another dog. However, she was as sweet as can be with people, loved attention and going for walks, and loved to play ball. This girl’s life didn’t seem to be very happy so far, but shelter staff hoped to change that by getting her to a rescue that could help her find a loving home. After waiting several weeks on the rescue list, Mona was given an urgent date. Move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund to help a rescue pay for Mona’s care and any vetting she might need. Fortunately, Tails and Trails came through and rescued this loving girl! They will be getting her spayed and finding her a forever home where she will get the love she always deserved! Thank you for your support of our Last Chance Fund!
