Max

Max

Before

Max was only two years old when he was surrendered to the shelter because his family was moving.  He had lived with cats and small children and also knew how to sit.  Unfortunately, at the shelter, Max was excitable and too jumpy and mouthy for the adoption floor.  He was placed on rescue only.  The stress of the kennel quickly got to this poor boy, and staff knew he needed out ASAP!  Max was given a “must have rescue by” date in the hope a rescue would make room for him.  Indy’s Voice for Animals (move to Act) pledged from our Last Chance Fund to help a rescue with the cost of his care.  Ruts Rescue stepped up to save this handsome boy, and he is doing well in his foster home!  You can see in his after picture how happy he is to be out of the shelter!  Thank you to the supporters of our Last Chance Fund for helping to save Max!  If you would like to help future at-risk animals, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/ to make a donation.  When shopping online use Amazon Smile, select move to Act for your charity of choice, and a percentage of your purchase to help an animal in need!
