Marisol was found running stray and brought to the shelter.  She is a happy girl who already knew sit and stay.  She was made available for adoption but, while on a walk, she almost lost consciousness and passed out.  The vet believed the episode was brought on by early heart disease caused by heartworms.  Marisol would need diagnostics for her heart prior to heartworm treatment, so it was decided to place her on rescue only.  The sooner she could find rescue, the better for her heart!  Indy’s Voice for Animals made a pledge from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue pay for her care.  Tuff Dawgs found a foster for this sweet girl, and she was off to the vet!  She had x-rays done and was able to begin heartworm treatment, so she is on the road to recovery.  Thank you for supporting our Moore Life Medical Fund and helping Marisol get the care she needed!  If you would like to make a contribution, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/  You can also help by using Amazon Smile when shopping online.  Select move to Act for your charity of choice, and a percentage of your purchase will go to help an animal in need.
