JoeJoe and Sadie

JoeJoe and Sadie

Before

This adorable pair came to the shelter in their senior years.  They were not well socialized and had spent most of their lives outside.  The shelter was a very scary place for them.  Both had high temperatures and were heartworm positive, so the Rescue Coordinator knew a quick rescue was needed.  She reached out to our Pledge Coordinator to see if Indy’s Voice for Animals could help with a pledge, as heartworm treatment for two large dogs would be costly, in addition to any other medical care they might need.  We pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help, and the Rescue Coordinator knew just the place to call:  Liberty Acres United Animal Rescue Sanctuary!  Liberty Acres came to the rescue, and these two are now in good hands getting the care and love they need.  Their new names are Joey and Katie.  They were even able to have a vet come to the sanctuary for their heartworm treatments, so they would not have to endure another scary car ride.  Thank you for supporting our Moore Life Medical Fund and helping animals like JoeJoe and Sadie get the care they need!  If you would like to make a contribution, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/  You can also help by using Amazon Smile when shopping online.  Select move to Act for your charity of choice, and a percentage of your purchase will go to help an animal in need.
