Jacob

Jacob

Before

Jacob arrived at the shelter as a stray with a microchip. He had been adopted from IACC as a pup, but his owners never came to claim him. While that is sad, it is probably for the best because Jacob had not received good care. His ears were folded up from ear infections, and he had fly strike and wounds on the tops of them. Also, his skin was itchy and patchy. Despite all this he was a friendly, loving boy who also liked other dogs. He was placed on rescue only in hopes a rescue could foster and provide the TLC he needed in order for his ears and skin to heal. After waiting on the rescue list with no interest, he was given a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund in hopes our pledge would enable a rescue to afford his care. Shortly after we pledged, Last Call K9s stepped up and saved Jacob! He is doing well in foster and will now receive the care he needs. Without donations to the Moore Life Medical Fund, we could not help save dogs like Jacob. Thank you for your support!
