Ian is only about a year old. He did not do well with other dogs at the shelter, and the shelter vet discovered he has a heart murmur. He was placed on rescue only for these reasons. Ian is beautiful and very friendly and social with people. Shelter staff were surprised when there was no rescue interest. After several weeks, Ian was given a “must have rescue by” date. Move to Act pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue with any medical costs. We hoped this would alleviate financial concerns a rescue might have regarding care for his heart murmur. Last Call K9s saved Ian! Further vetting revealed his heart murmur was slight and not a cause for concern. Ian has also been playing with other dogs in his foster home and is doing well!
