Hopscotch

Before

Hopscotch was only around a year old when he was found as a stray. He was fearful and timid in his kennel, but eventually became braver and more social after staff and volunteers visited with him. He was tested for the adoption floor and did not do well when meeting other dogs. Unfortunately, this meant he would have to be placed on the rescue-only list. Hopscotch is a big puppy with a fun, silly way about him. He loves to play and will flop over, sometimes right in your lap, for belly rubs. Sadly, he spent Christmas and New Year’s in the shelter, waiting to be rescued. After several weeks with no interest, he was given a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act made a pledge from our Last Chance Fund in the hope of encouraging a rescue to save him. Luckily, Dog It Dig It stepped up and rescued him! They discovered he can play with submissive dogs and are currently working with him on being growly and bossy with other dogs at times. As you can see in his after picture, he does have some dog friends he plays with. Thank you for supporting our Last Chance Fund and being a part of saving Hopscotch!
