Harvey

Before

Harvey came to the shelter in need of TLC. He looked to have lived a rough life but has a good personality and is very friendly towards people and other dogs. He was going to the adoption floor, but the shelter vet noticed he had been urinating blood. The normal course of medication at the shelter did not help. Harvey was put on rescue-only because he needed tests and medical care the shelter could not provide. After three weeks with no rescue, he was given an urgent date in which he must have rescue by. Move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund in the hope our pledge would help with the medical costs and enable a rescue to pull him. Thankfully, PAWS Hancock stepped up and rescued Harvey! His name is now Ozzie, and he is loving life in his foster home. He has had several vet visits and tests and is currently on a new medication to help with the blood in his urine. Thank you for supporting our Last Chance Fund!
