Harley

Before

Harley was only 10 years old when her owners brought her to the shelter to be euthanized due to her age. They said she had been sick for two months, but they did not know why. Harley was extremely thin at only 24 pounds, and her ribs and hip bones were visible. Despite this, she was still happy and active! The shelter staff saw no reason to euthanize her. They began to look for a rescue where she could get the medical care she needed. But after a few days on the rescue list, Harley lost some of her spunk. Shelter staff were worried and put out an urgent plea to rescue. move to ACT pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue with her medical costs. Every Dog Counts responded right away to the urgent plea, and Harley was taken to their vet that day! After running tests, the vet discovered that Harley is diabetic. Once she started receiving proper treatment, she bounced right back and was once again a happy girl! Thank you for supporting the Moore Life Medical Fund and making it possible for us to help dogs like Harley!
