Poor Graham was abandoned by his owner and brought to the shelter by an Animal Control officer. He was scared and did not know whom to trust, so he expressed his fear by barking at the cage front and acting tough. Outside the kennel, he was a timid boy who warmed up fairly quickly and liked to give kisses! Unfortunately, his cage behavior was not acceptable for the adoption floor, so he was placed on rescue only. After a few weeks with no rescue interest, the shelter was overflowing with animals, and Graham was given a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund in the hope our pledge would give Graham a better chance at rescue. Soon after our pledge was posted, Last Call K9s stepped up and rescued him. He has now been adopted and is enjoying life in his forever home.
