Dusty was surrendered to the shelter by her owner who claimed Dusty had been having chronic diarrhea for three years. Poor Dusty was very scared at the shelter. Staff started her on medication, but the stress certainly wasn’t helping her condition. She was placed on rescue only in hopes a rescue could run more extensive tests and find the cause. Move to Act made a pledge from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue with the cost of her vet care. After a week on the rescue list, Dusty was still no better. The shelter made an urgent plea, and Every Dog Counts stepped up and saved the day! Dusty went straight to the vet and had blood work run. (This is where her after picture was taken.)
