Dipper was brought in as a stray. He is a friendly boy who loves everyone! Sadly, he was limping and holding his leg oddly when standing. The medical staff did x-rays, but the shelter vet could find no obvious fractures. Dipper would need further diagnostics to determine what the cause of his issue might be. He was placed on rescue only in the hope a rescue could help. Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help with the cost of diagnostics and care. He waited a few weeks, but Creekside Animal Rescue was able to make a spot for him! Further diagnostics revealed fluid around both stifles (knees). The vet felt Dipper will likely develop cruciate disease in the future, but for now he doesn’t need pain medication or surgery. He will be starting a Glucosamine supplement to help his joints and has been doing well in rescue. Thank you for supporting our Moore Life Medical Fund and being a part of getting Dipper the care he needed!
