Coleman is a good example of why training a puppy is so important. He came into the shelter at a year old and did not know his own size or strength. He loved to jump and play, but unfortunately at his size, he could easily knock someone over and hurt them. He was placed on the rescue list because he could not pass the handling portion of the shelter’s temp test. Weeks went by, and Coleman still had no rescue. The shelter became full, and Coleman was given an urgent date. move to ACT made a pledge to help a rescue provide care and training, and Homes for Huskies rescued him! His foster has a doggy daycare where he loves playing with the other dogs. Coleman has received training, is behaving better, and already has a few people interested in adopting him! Thank you for supporting the Last Chance Fund and helping dogs like Coleman find their forever homes!
