Baxter was confiscated with a large group of farm animals who were not being properly cared for. As you can see in the picture, he is very thin and needs to gain quite a bit of weight. He also has rain rot all over his back and rump. (Rain rot is a skin infection that occurs when the animal has no shelter and is always wet.) Indianapolis Animal Care and Services put out a plea to their rescue partners, and A Critter’s Chance rescued the animals! move to Act pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help with Baxter’s care. Baxter has now had a vet visit as you can see in the photo, is being loaded up with extra food, and is being bathed with medicated shampoo to treat the rain rot. Thank you for supporting our Moore Life Medical Fund and helping Baxter get the care he deserved all along!
