Bunny was around 10 months old when she was found running stray and brought to the shelter. She is a precious, spunky, happy, silly puppy who you can’t help but love! Sadly, she was limping on one of her legs. The medical staff did x-rays and found she had an old injury that didn’t heal properly. It was possible she might need her leg amputated. Bunny was placed on rescue only, so she could find a rescue willing to do further diagnostics and amputate, if necessary. One of the challenges to finding her a rescue was her interaction with other dogs. She likely had not been well socialized because she seemed to not like the other dog one minute and then want to play the next. Her bark and posture said, “Leave me alone,” but she play-bowed as well. Bunny sat on the rescue list for a couple weeks with no interest. move to Act pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help with medical costs. Fortunately, Heaven After Hell stepped up for this little girl! Bunny is now named Magnolia. After further diagnostics, their vet determined an amputation was not necessary, so she will get to keep her leg! They also found her a dog friend to play with who doesn’t mind her odd play style. Thank you for supporting our Moore Life Medical Fund and helping us be a part of Magnolia’s happy story! If you would like to make a contribution, please visit http://www.movetoact.
