Blue Bell has a very sad story. First one of her owners passed away, and then the other, so she found herself at the shelter. She was very shut down and insecure. She came out of her kennel willingly and was easy to walk on leash, but she was not interested in toys, treats, or affection. She just stared at the windows and looked around. There was such a sadness in her eyes. Blue Bell has masses all over her body, and her teeth were pretty bad. She was placed on rescue only, so she could get the vet care she needed. Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged to help, and Humane Society of the Dunes rescued this girl! As you can see from her after picture, there is a little more spark and hope in her eyes now.
