Begonia was surrendered by her owner after she had two weeks of anorexia and vomiting. She was extremely overweight (almost double what she should weigh) and was very painful getting up and down. She could only walk for brief periods before lying down to rest. Due to her condition, she was posted for urgent rescue. Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help. Fortunately, Tails and Trails rescued her, and they went straight to the vet! They discovered Begonia has pancreatitis and two torn ACLs in her back legs (no wonder she had trouble walking!). She is currently on a diet for her pancreatitis which is also helping her to lose weight. Once she has lost weight, she will need surgery to repair her torn ACLs. Begonia is only five years old, so we’re thankful Tails and Trails is helping her get healthy again, so she can enjoy life! Thank you to those who have supported our Moore Life Medical Fund and made it possible to help Begonia!
