Sadly, Beau was brought to the shelter to be euthanized at 10 years old, which is not very old for a Chihuahua. He had been allowed to reach a weight of 28 pounds, which made it difficult for him to get around. But Beau didn’t seem to mind; he was all fun and games! He was a busy, active boy who went from door to door seeing and smelling everything. The shelter was concerned that a medical issue might be causing his weight problem, so he was placed on rescue only. move to ACT pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue pay for medical tests. Heartland Small Animal Rescue fell in love with this chunky man and sprung him from the shelter! He will now have tests run, receive any necessary treatment, and be placed on a weight-loss plan. He should be lean, fit, and feeling better in no time! Thank you for your support of the Moore Life Medical Fund!
