Bear was surrendered to the shelter when he was eight years old because his owner no longer had time for him. Bear was a smart, active guy who seemed to have been well cared for. During his temp test, he was a little touchy with handling and failed the food bowl portion of the test. The shelter staff placed him on the rescue-only list in hopes of finding an experienced foster who could provide training.
