Achilles was surrendered to the shelter because his owner’s neighbors complained he was loose and chasing people. He was friendly with everyone at the shelter and just a big, playful baby. Sadly, he did not pass the food bowl portion of the temperament test, so he was put on the rescue only list. Achilles waited for six weeks with no interest from rescue, so he was given a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund in hopes a pledge would get him noticed and help a rescue pay for his care. Achilles was down to hours when Canine Castaways managed to make a spot for him in their rescue! His new name is Archie, and he is doing well.
