Deacon was found in a small crate with another dog, inside a locked storage shed.  Even though he had a rough start to life, it didn’t dampen his spirits.  He was very sweet, playful, and social with everyone.  The medical staff discovered Deacon had hip dysplasia and a tear in his right cruciate.  He would likely need surgical repair, so he was placed on rescue only.  These surgeries are very expensive, so Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue with the cost.  Every Dog Counts stepped up and rescued Deacon!  He has since had his surgery, and recovery is going well.  This boy is being spoiled in a foster home and enjoying all the comforts he should have always had.  Thank you for donating to our Moore Life Medical Fund and helping Deacon!  If you would like to help more animals, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/ to make a donation.  When shopping online, use Amazon Smile, select move to Act for your charity of choice, and a percentage of your purchase will go to help an animal in need!
