Gypsy was around 13 years old when she came to the shelter.  Her owner had too many cats and was unable to care for them.  This poor kitty was very scared and mostly hid in the cubby in her cage.  She arrived with darkened lumps on her abdomen area which were either fluid pockets or masses.  She was placed on rescue only in the hope a rescue could take care of her medical needs.  Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help with the cost.  Barkers and Whiskers stepped up to help this lovely senior lady and got her straight to the vet!  Her blood work looked good, and she will be having the masses removed and a dental.  You can follow her progress on Barkers and Whiskers Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/barkersandwhiskers/  Thank you to those of you who have donated to our Moore Life Medical Fund and helped Gypsy get the care she needed.  If you would like to make a donation, please visit https://indysvoice4animals.org/  When shopping online use Amazon Smile, select move to Act for your charity of choice, and a percentage of your purchase will go to help an animal in need!  The more donations we receive, the more animals we can help!
