Edith was around 10 years old when she arrived at the shelter as a stray. She is a very special gal, and everyone fell in love with her. She loved going for walks and getting attention. Sadly, poor Edith had been suffering for some time with inflamed skin and ears. She was missing fur around her eyes and on her feet, and she appeared to have either dry eye or an eye infection. The shelter medical staff started her on several medications and placed her on rescue only, so she could get further care and TLC. Indy’s Voice for Animals pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help a rescue pay for her vet costs. Edith waited a few weeks, but Canine Castaways found a spot for her, and off to rescue she went! She has since had two medicated baths and is doing well. You can already see her skin is looking better in her after picture! Thank you to those of you who helped Edith by pledging to our Moore Life Medical Fund.
