Pongo was around 9 years old when he arrived at the shelter as a stray. The shelter vet noticed him spinning to one side in his cage and started him on medication. He did much better but still needed blood work to make sure nothing was wrong. He also needed a dental. Pongo is such a sweet, friendly, laid-back boy. He enjoys snoozing and isn’t much trouble at all. In spite of this, no rescue came and he was given a “must have rescue by” date. move to Act pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund to help with the cost of his care. Canine Castaways stepped up and saved Pongo! As you can see in his after photo, he is quite relaxed and happy in his foster home.
