Hemi was only two years old when he found himself on the shelter’s rescue list with a “must have rescue by” date. He was labeled “rescue only” because he barked and growled at his cage door and seemed aggressive. Although, anyone brave enough to open the door would see a completely different side of Hemi. He is an energetic little guy who loves to play ball! His before picture was taken at the shelter, so you can see how happy he was when away from the kennel area. Hemi waited a few weeks on the rescue list with no interest. He was given a “must have rescue by” date, and move to Act pledged from our Last Chance Fund in hopes of helping a rescue afford his care. Red Sky Rescue stepped up and saved him! He was adopted quickly, and, as you can see from his after picture, is enjoying life in his forever home!
