Emmie came to the shelter as a stray when she was only a year old. She was still very puppy-like, sweet, silly, and adorable. She was also a little scared. She favored one leg when walking, and the shelter vet suspected she may have a broken leg that had simply healed on its own. Emmie would need x-rays to determine a course of treatment, so she was placed on rescue only. move to ACT pledged from our Moore Life Medical Fund in order to help with the cost.
