Indianapolis Animal Care Services had a RECORD live release rate for dogs and cats in April of 93%! Thanks to the dedication of numerous all-volunteer rescues, volunteer groups like Indy CARES and Friends of Indianapolis Animal Care Services Foundation, caring shelter employees, and supporters like you, the dismal save rate of past years is becoming a distant memory.

April’s rate exceeds 2017’s by 8%, and is a whopping 18% improvement over 2013. This includes animals with treatable illnesses.
